Summary: Vetstar support is paramount.  We offer the highest quality support to our clients!  Support Team Members support and train clients in the use of proprietary Veterinary Software system.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 

Support:

 

 

 

Solve client support problems. Log the problem, investigate and test on in house system. Monitor client accounts with constant verbal and written communication.

 

 

Training:

 

 

 

Web based training for established clients on new system functionality. Web based training for new clients. Weekly broadcast training for clients.

 

 

Documentation:

 

 

 

Maintain on line support documentation (documentation writing)

 

 

New clients:

 

 

 

Manage the installation and implementation process of a new client.

 

 

Requirements:

 

 

College Degree preferred

 

Problem solver: able to shift priorities. Move from one task to another.

 

Interest in latest computer technologies, and good keyboard skills

 

Excellent communication skills: written and verbal

Summary: Assist in the development and deployment of a proprietary application and add on products (written in Visual Basic, Java, Java script, HTML.).

Application Design:

 

 

 

The ideal candidate is able to appreciate the “big picture” of an application when working on specific issues. Also, the ideal candidate constantly considers how the application can be better.

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

 

Java Script, Java or HTML

 

Network Administration

 

Unix scripting or perl

 

Unix or Windows System Administration
