RAVEN is a Java Applications that allows clients of animal laboratories to be able to remotely accession submissions. Once completed, they simply include a print out that alerts the laboratory as to what their submission number is.
The output from RAVEN can be used to interface with any LIMS. (RAVEN 1.5 offers simple XML output.) For laboratories using the VADDS LIMS system, the cost of interfacing RAVEN is completely included in the purchase price.
